The 1830 Napoleon Saber is a replica of the ones that were used by the fearless cavalry in Napoleon’s army.  Although its shape and looks is a close reminiscent of the 1860 Light Cavalry Saber it is by far much more effective and durable. This is a functional sword that cuts and slashes objects mercilessly.

This sword was functional enough to be used even after Napoleon’s reign and was a part of the Civil War. This weapon is meant for the trooper since its thrust is powerful enough to slash even the toughest of things. The curved blade is forged of 1055 carbon steel and is long while its point is wide full and extremely sharp.

It has a back leather covered grip that is well made and is also protected by a stout and a brass three bar hilt. The scabbard is made of polished steel along with dual rings for easy attachment to your sword belt or baldric. The overall length of the sword is 37 in. while the length of the blade is 33 ¾ in.  leaving the handle at 5 ¼ in. in length. If you are a fan of Civil War Swords, this one is a must have!
