We have a coffee maker that we’ve had for quite awhile. I think it had been a gift when we moved into our new home and we’ve used it nearly every day. It’s an 8-cup coffee maker and since we’re a family of coffee-drinkers there are days when we make more than one pot. Sometimes my husband likes to take a thermos with him in the morning, so that’s easily a two-coffee pot morning. I’ve been meaning to upgrade to a larger coffee maker for quite some time but since this one has been working well I never got around to it. Then my husband took it upon himself to get a new Black & Decker 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker for Christmas.
I am so glad that he did because it’s not only a larger capacity, but it’s also programmable. Our old pot didn’t have this feature and I simply can’t believe how convenient it is. I love waking up to fresh hot coffee waiting for me. It has a lot of modern features like easy to clean touch pad controls and a digital clock timer with auto-off. My hubby purchased it in white which matches perfectly with the rest of small kitchen appliances. It’s so nice to finally have a large programmable coffee machine in our home.
