The Ming Aralia bonsai needs a good amount of light, but be careful that you don’t end up causing any scorching. It also needs a good amount of water. Don’t let it get incredibly dry, but do let the soil dry out just a little bit between watering. Otherwise, there’s a small chance you could end up giving your Ming Aralia too much water, leading to root rot and other health issues.

A shower filter is a small filter that fits before your shower head, removing chlorine and other chemicals from your water, for softer skin and better health. A typical shower filter contains thousands of granules off activated charcoal, which absorb chlorine, solvents, and other volatile chemicals from the water passing over them, while a more expensive unit might contain additional filter media, such as a copper/zinc mixture, to adjust the pH, soften the water, or remove a wider range of chemicals.

While a shower filter removes hundreds of chemicals, the chemical found in by far the largest quantities in most water is chlorine. Chlorine is added to keep the water sterile, preventing bacteria and algae growth, which is overall a good thing – but it has drawbacks, including being unhealthy, and is bad for your skin. Shower filters can also adjust the pH to a neutral 7-8, as too high or too low of a pH (that’s alkaline or acidic – neither is good) is also bad for your skin. The softness of the water, along with the pH, also affects how soap works and how well it lathers. Our favorite has been the Aquasana AQ-4100 shower filter. It is reasonably priced and works great.

I’ve been pretty ho-hum about magnetic name tags lately. For years I got them from the same company, and they all looked pretty much the same and after a while my employees lost them or threw them away and it was money down the drain. So what’s my point? Well, that you can invest in something a little more interesting and your workers may actually want to wear them. I know, it sounds impossible. But I’ve been through this over and over so thought to myself “What’s to lose?”

You’ll find these in a range from $29 to $75. Before you faint, let me explain. These name tags are more like jewelry than anything else. You can present them as gifts to your employees and they’ll actually thank you for them! Don’t believe me? Well, at my clinic we have a policy that after you’ve been with me for a year, you get one of these artistic badges to commemorate. And the number of employees who actually try to do a good job so they don’t get fired has increased by five times. Coincidence? Maybe. But it has been proven that if you give your people incentive to do a good job, they will do a good job. My way has been with these custom employee name badges.

Mirrored sunglasses set an image. For tiny babies and small children the image is of someone who looks lovingly at them as proven by the reflection they see. For older kids it is an image of being cool and mysterious. For older people it is pretty hard to say why they wear mirrored sunglasses.

Motorcycle riders seem to wear them often, but I am reluctant to say that they are striving to appear either cool or mysterious. I imagine that they have well developed senses of self and are not worried if strangers think they have a cool fashion sense. I also doubt if they work to hard at being mysterious. So I am guessing that they just follow the crowd that they think they are part of. Gamblers never wear mirrored sunglasses. Even though they are proud of their ability to conceal their thoughts from their opponents, they are also aware that the mirrored reflection could reveal their cards.

As a result of these opinions, I will guess that the image that adults want to project while wearing mirrored glasses is that they have a terrific sense of humor or they were able to buy them at a terrific price. Or maybe I should just buy a pair of wholesale sunglasses and see if I change my mind.

This is a functional sword that cuts and slashes objects mercilessly.

This sword was functional enough to be used even after Napoleon’s reign and was a part of the Civil War. This weapon is meant for the trooper since its thrust is powerful enough to slash even the toughest of things. The curved blade is forged of 1055 carbon steel and is long while its point is wide full and extremely sharp.

It has a back leather covered grip that is well made and is also protected by a stout and a brass three bar hilt. The scabbard is made of polished steel along with dual rings for easy attachment to your sword belt or baldric. The overall length of the sword is 37 in. while the length of the blade is 33 ¾ in. leaving the handle at 5 ¼ in. in length. If you are a fan of Civil War Swords, this one is a must have!

When you think of sports conditioning you think of training individual muscles related to the type of movement you may encounter in your particular sport. The resistance band makes it possible for anyone to imitate the exact movement patterns an athlete does with use of various resistance levels. This especially comes in play when an athlete is doing rehabilitation for an injury and has to work the damaged muscles back to health.

Resistance training not only helps an athlete get stronger in their rehab assignment but it is often the case that the use of resistance bands in training will help prevent or reduce serious injury. That is why many Pilates studios and personal trainers incorporate bands into their client’s workout routine. Bands come in various resistances from extra light up to extra heavy, so that even a beginner or a de-conditioned person can work with them. Bands work the smaller and more neglected muscle groups too.

Color-coded bands make it easy for practitioners to identify them. Lightweight and extremely portable, bands are also cheap in relationship to heavy exercise machines. They make a great alternative to free weights and unlike weights; bands give you more versatility and greater flexibility in your exercise movements.
