The whole house water filters are acting as a barrier between the house internal and external environment. It is well known that water infestation can trigger easily allergies and other illnesses that could be easily avoided by having a protection towards viruses, microbes or other toxic chemical that can get into our water sources. As it is easier and cheap to prevent than to combat we should always consider having such a system installed as a point of entry towards an environment.
